| We are Marguerite and Philippe de Bree and in March we had a party for our 9th birthday. We had a swimming pool party at Guildford Spectrum and we could invite 45 friends. Our mum and dad explained to us that we mostly likely would receive 45 times 2 gifts and we all thought that would be a bit too much. So instead of gifts, we decided to ask money for charity.
The choice which charity was easy, our mum is a volunteer for touraid and she has told us stories about and showed us pictures of the children who come over to play rugby.
With our birthday party we raised £535. In October our school, Danes Hill School in Oxshott, will be the host for a team of boys from Ghana, who will play in the Tullow Oil U13 Cup. We hope to meet the boys and are really looking forward to support them at their matches.
