| The Surrey Storm Netball team had a coaching session with the girls but it soon became apparent that the talents of the Tobago girls need little refining as their athleticism and flair is incredible.
During their visit the girls will visit the Snow Dome and as Kishelle Wellington, 10, says 'For the first time I will see snow and I cannot wait to throw snow balls at all my friends! I am so excited at all the great things we will see and learn.'
Ripley Court's commitment to touraid has now seen them host for three times - first Kyadondo U13's from Kampala (2006) and last year the Rainbows U13 from Trinidad.
Headmaster Andrew Gough stated, 'We are delighted to be the first school to host an all girl's tour with touraid. It is not only the host families that benefit from this special week but my whole school; pupils, staff and parents. The kids connect in their special ways and that it something heart-warming to see. Educationally it is exceptional and though hard work the whole experience is very satisfying and rewarding.' Tobago coach, Malvina Cadiz, stated, 'For all the girls this is a dream come true. Hardly any would have travelled as far as Trinidad before so a chance to come to the UK and meet such loving and supportive people such as at Ripley Court is amazing. It will give them life-long memories and friendships, I am sure.'
