This tour was totally funded by BSRFC with a remaining £6k donated to each group for further support. The Tlamelo project supports vulnerable and orphaned children from Gaborone by supporting their carers and their education. The Botswana RFU helps by providing fresh produce from the chicken farm owned by the President of the Union.
BSRFC have donated £6k to Rugby Uncle in India and are visiting Gaborone in Jan/Feb to visit Tlamelo with another £6k to donate. BSRFC intends to repeat the experience in May 2012.

2010 Another group of children from the Tlamelo Project are visiting host school Kingsmead and taking part in the Caldy Festival
Seb Stegman, Harlequin and England U20 player also visited the project and spent 2 weeks coaching
