The links with the Mogale Warriors continue to be very strong. Esher High School received cards and letters at the end of the summer term via the mailbox set up by Lonmin. A report from one of the teachers who came on the tour (Mary) was also sent. She retains strong links with a member of staff at Esher. The report contains much information with regard to the positives that have come out of the tour for the staff, children and the local community. Nicola is sending this report on to us when she locates it.

A group of GCSE dance students and the rugby team visited Zambia over the summer. This was linked to their chosen charity Street Child Africa and arranged in conjunction with tag Rugby (who has links with the charity).

The school are hoping to take students out to South Africa in 2010/11 and have spoken to Lonmin. They would plan to both connect back with the families involved in the October 2008 tour, and maintain links with the two schools.
