Having succeeded to win the heart and minds of everyone they met in 2008, the Thamelo Vultures representing Botswana have no doubts to the challenge they will be facing on the pitch this September.
The Thamelo Project supports orphaned and vulnerable children in and around Gaborone.

Kingsmead are pleased to report a very successful Botswana day at school.

"We had a themed day where all the lessons were tied in to learning about Botswana or the children were involved in fundraising activities.We also had a series of African Dance workshops.
Our big news is that we have surpassed our target of £7000 and we still have bits of money to come in--hurrah!!We have also managed to gain some further sponsorship for the next three years to support the project further(£500 a year) which is even more exciting-it looks like we are in for the long haul!"
