We last met Agboola in June 2011 when he accompanied his father, Rudolph Jack and the Rainbows, to the Mayor of Manchester Festival.  Such were the bonds created with hosts Wilmslow RFC that he has taken up the kind offer of Simon and Fiona King to come to the UK to develop his playing and coaching experience.

Agboola is a prodigious talent.  19 years old he has captained the Trinidad and Tobago U19 side and recently starred for the Full National Sevens side in the Carib Sevens in Barbados.
Agboola has a full itinerary ahead of him, including a months' placement at a leading community Rugby Club Hackney RFC. He will be shadowing the Premier Rugby's Hitz programme and has already trained at Sale Sharks.

Agboola comes from one of the most disadvantaged communities in the Caribbean and this opportunity to develop his rugby and life skills has had a profound impact on his community. Brian Lewis, Trinidad and Tobago, IOC member, commented, "For such a lad to get this experience is incredible.  It shows the real commitment rugby folk the world over have to supporting those less fortunate and will play a major part in Agbools's development as a leader in Marabella".

touraid would like to give special thanks to Iain Richards of SKRUM, the amazing committee at Hackney RFC and all the other clubs, players and hosts in London who have opened their homes to Agboola.
We look forward to following his story and hope he has enough warm clothes!
